Starting in the old streets

We began in the arcades before the light got hard — stone arches, shuttered storefronts, the two of them working out how to stand next to each other on camera.

The bridge

The Binondo–Intramuros bridge is all white steel and open sky, which is a gift on an overcast afternoon — the whole span acts like a softbox.
